Unity achieves double contract wins in utility sector

Unity has been awarded contract extensions by two national utility companies, which will see the continuing provision of wellhead maintenance and integrity services for their UK-based gas storage facilities.

The first contract extension is for a period of one year and involves the provision of equipment, services and personnel for two storage facilities in East Yorkshire. In addition to wellhead integrity, maintenance and repair work, plus equipment supply and storage, Unity regularly employs echo meters to monitor fluid levels. They have also provided engineering services to solve challenges and support individual projects. Unity has held this contract since 2016.

The second contract extension is for a period of two years and is based at a storage facility in Cheshire. Unity has worked with this client since 2017 and has complemented its wellhead integrity services with the provision of one-off engineering projects, including tree removal and recompletion of some wells.
